POUNDBURY VOICES
POUNDBURY VOICES: the editorial team for "DORSET VOICES": Jim Potts, OBE, Maria Strani-Potts and Louisa Adjoa Parker. Jim is a published author and has also co-edited and contributed to international anthologies. For 35 years he represented the British Council and helped promote and showcase British writers overseas. He was British Council Director and Cultural Attaché in Sweden and Czechoslovakia, and directed Council operations in Australia for 7 years. Maria has published two books and is currently writing her third. "The Cat of Portovecchio" is about to be published in Greek translation by Kedros, one of the most important publishing houses in Greece. She has also published articles in various journals. Louisa’s poetry and prose has been published in a range of anthologies and magazines. Her first poetry collection was "Salt-sweat and Tears". As writer in residence at HMP Portland YOI, she helped young offenders produce a collection of their work, and she also runs writing workshops for schools and communities. She is passionate about equality and the Arts, and hopes to inspire people from diverse backgrounds to become interested in writing.
